SOMEONE FINALLY SAID IT

So if a teenager is at school for roughly 8 hours, and they are doing homework for 6+ hours, and they need AT LEAST 9 HOURS OF SLEEP FOR THEIR DEVELOPING BRAINS, then they may have 0-1 hours for other activities like eating, bathing, exercise, socializing (which is actually incredibly important for emotional, mental, and physical health, as well as the development of skills vital to their future career and having healthy romantic relationships among other things), religious activities, hobbies, extra curriculars, medical care of any kind, chores (also a skill/habit development thing and required by many parents), relaxation, and family time?  Not to mention that your parents may or may not pressure you to get a job, or you might need to get one for economic reasons.

I will never not reblog this

A love story in 5 pictures.

i love this

“So this is it?” she asked. She looked down on the ground with her left hand tightly grasping his, not wanting to let go. Not just yet.

“Hey, chin up, sweet cheeks,” he said, “We’ll see each other again. Till then, I’ll love you from where I’ll be.”

She gradually looked up, and his heart broke at the sight of her tears. He never did like seeing her cry, except when they’re tears of joy. “Noo, don’t cry. I don’t want you crying to be my last image of you,” he whispered, clutching her hand even tighter.

“Turn around,” she replied. Slightly confused, he followed her actions as she slowly turned her back on him. Arms outstretched and hands still tightly locked, she murmured, “What do you see? I see children playing by the fountain. I see a couple sitting at a cafe shop. I also see a guy having a go at a girl,” she chuckled quietly, “But no matter what I see now, tomorrow, or the next few months that you’re gone, you’ll always be the image in the front of my mind, whether it be you laughing or you with tears in your eyes. I love you. I always will. You’ll be hundreds of miles from me, but distance cannot and will not change that. Not ever.”

He was rendered speechless. His love for her overwhelmed him. “I guess I don’t mind having an image of you with tears in your eyes as the last thing to remember you by. At least I’ll have an even bigger reason to come back soon. And when I return, I’ll wipe those tears away.”

Silence loomed over them. Then slowly, they let go of each other’s hands and, without glancing back, they quietly walked away with heavy hearts in their chests. The distance between them grew further and further, but their thoughts of each other grew closer and closer, already awaiting for their reunion months from now.

Then she suddenly stopped as she remembered that she forgot to do something. “Wait!” she yelled as she turned back around and ran towards him.

She forgot to kiss his tears away.

I’ve found that growing up means being honest. About what I want. What I need. What I feel. Who I am.

"I started doing comedy because that was the only stage that I could find. It was the pure idea of being on stage. That was the only thing that interested me, along with learning the craft and working, and just being in productions with people."
